As in physical weight. As in our bodies. As in finding our limits, accepting them, and then taking them on with pleasure. The show is meant as a tribute to the experience of having a human body, and of being able to communicate with it. We want to make this show by erasing the boundary between spectator and artist. Contact and interdependence create this closeness. It lets us see the similarities, without fear or embarrassment, but with desire. Je sens la terre bouger is a show designed to be set up in open spaces, outdoors but also in spaces such as hangars, etc. The show explores the circular format. The artistic team, three musicians and two circus artists, wander among and with the spectators in a collective, participatory game. Je sens la terre bouger will take a monumental form. Iron masts, ropes and wood are the materials it is made of. The game will last one hour, divided into five chapters. Chapters through which the audience and the performers knit together a kind of great carousel made of improbable swings.
